It is with much regret that I announce the closure of thesponge's torrent site.

First off I would like to thank the staff and users of thesponge for their hard work and support over the years.

Unfortunately due to lack of free time of myself and the staff we are no longer able to give the site / irc channel the time and energy it needs.

I won't be closing the channel, however, there will be no serving of files in there - if you currently run an fserv or alike please close it down, thank you :).
I may encode the odd TV-PACK every now and then and release via the channel, but these will be on an infrequent basis

If any of you would like access to an rtorrent seed box please pm me on irc - i'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement :).

On the bright side however, toudi will be opening up #TV over the next few days where he will be serving tv shows via xdcc bot, fservs and alike, please head over there and help him build up that channel :).

I plan on encoding the Star Trek TNG Season 1 BluRay's when they come out at the end of July
